For our first official and Halloween special tournament our kids were more then ready to battle for the colours of the Brussels Football Academy no matter the horrible weather pouring showers on us all along the tournament.
Thanks to our ever growing number of players we were able to create a second team competing in the U16 league, most of their age being just over the U13 league, it was a big challenge for us to go up against older opponents. Unsurprisingly they took on the challenge with fearless confidence winning 2 out of their 3 games and their final game being versus the title holders, the Brussels Tigers, composed of much older and taller players. In the end, they still managed to stand up to the adversary finished with a tight 6-12 game in favour of the Tigers.
We still have much to work on but I see a bright future in this very young and promising team.
