Trip to Amsterdam leads to first U19 loss of the season

On Sunday 10 October our U19 tackle team travelled to Amsterdam to play the equally undefeated Amsterdam Panthers. The BFA defense started off strong limiting Amsterdam to a turnover on downs on multiple drives. However the offense and special teams had trouble moving the ball and after a while the many hard hits by the Panthers started to take their toll. After a fourth BFA player got badly injured near the end of the fourth quarter the coaches decided it was better to end the game then and there. Final score 35-0 (forfeit) loss.
